Mother's Day!!

Well I have to admit I am super excited for Mothers Day this year because it is my first one to celebrate with new (ish) baby boy! I am sure every year I won't be this pumped for it. But this year, well it's kind of a special one.

And while this is my first Mothers Day I have been thinking of all the other Mom's I know. My own Mom, real life friends who are Moms, blog friends who are Mom's. Some new Moms like me....some have had the title for a little while now. Regardless of how long...it doesn't take away how special this day is.

Since Hallmark must bank in on the fact it is yet another "holiday" I have been seeing endless commercials and sales for "Mothers Day!". It got me thinking. What would be a good present for this mini little, but special day?

And I came to the conclusion that anything that says Mom, while be it very typical, is very nice and special. Anything with Mom on it means so much to me at this point. Again, maybe that's cause I'm still new to it. But a picture frame with the word "Mom" on it makes me smile! And the little birds on this frame are really cute :)

For new Moms (or old pros!) something special could be anything with your little babies names on it! For example I have been obsessed with name or initial necklaces. Have you watched Up All Night with Christina Applegate? Love her "Amy" necklace! So cute!!! And she wears one in real like for her actual daughter Sadie! Might need to snag me a "Jack" one someday!
