A few weeks back I participated in a book swap....and I am here today link up with the lovely hosts, Heather from Blonde Undercover Blonde and Katie from a The Nerdy Katie
I was linked up with Courtney from Life Well Expected!
It was so great to meet a new blogger and although she is new to the blogging world I am loving her blog already! Be sure to go check her out!!
Courtney treated me to the book Dollhouse by who else, but the Kardashians! The Kardashians are my guilty pleasure...I love all their shows, I admittedly buy magazines when they are on the cover, I read their websites, and have their other book too! Needless to say I am a fan.
She also added the worlds cutest book mark...."Keep Calm and Have a Cupcake". Another obsession of mine...all things cupcakes!! This book mark actually matches perfect to a notebook my sister in law got me a couple of Christmas's ago!
The reviews on this book have been mixed...but I try not to take negative reviews too seriously...just because someone doesn't like something doesn't mean I won't!
Here is the synopsis per Amazon:
You'd think that all the glitz and the glamour would make life a breeze. But as the sisters painfully discover, being a celebrity in L.A.'s gilded dollhouse isn't all it's cracked up to be. Suddenly their problems are much bigger than sharing clothes and discussing crushes. Who knew that having a famous sister would bring up so many issues: jealousy, backstabbing friends, fix-ups, plastic surgery, and paparazzi run-ins, to name just a few. As the sisters deal with their new lives, complete with a televised wedding, crazy nightclub parties, and forbidden stepsibling attraction, there's a huge secret that threatens to break even their tightest family bonds.
Thank you Courtney for my new book and super cute book mark! I love them both! And thanks to Heather and Katie for putting this swap together!
If you ever get a chance to do a swap do it! It's fun, you get to meet some pretty cool new people, shop for someone and get a little present in the mail, I mean who doesn't love that?
Any good book recommendation's out there? I just bought 50 Shades on my Nook after reading all the buzz about it lately....I am curious to see what it is all about!
