Total Down 12.4! I am super excited with this number! It's great to get past the 10lbs mark just in 2 months time. I still have a ways to go to get to where I ultimately was pre-pregnancy...but I like that it is happening very gradual, that makes me feel like it will last instead of losing huge everyweek, then one wrong meal and it all comes back.
But boy I can not wait to be back in my pre-pregnancy clothes...I miss my closet!!
In the meantime I have been shopping around for some new work out clothes to get my exercise on. I need to get movitvated to move this butt into gear!
I saw this on pinterest and LOVED it. I used to run, I trained to run a little 5k a few years back. It was hard but so rewarding. I never lost weight while running, but it completely changed my body. Once I stopped running I could tell my boo-tay was starting fall back to its original place! And it's not like I ran a ton, just a few miles a few times a week. It makde a difference, and I got to get back to it. Maybe with this new found spring weather it will inspire me to get out there and run...

ReplyDeleteI gained 48 pounds with K and it is taking forever to shed the weight! I know that I shouldn't be complaining 3 months pp, but it has been really discouraging to be stuck. Some women apparently hold onto weight while bf-ing until their baby is weaned - I guess I am one of those! I am going to keep doing the right thing! Maybe calorie counting isn't working well... I should look into WW (done it before with success)!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I gained 50 pounds with my first, got back to pre baby weight. The day that happened I found out I was pregnant again! Gained 60 that time. It's a hard road - but sounds like you are doing great!
