So I haven't been great at posting my weight +/-'s each week because life has just been hectic. I know..excuses, excuses! I have been going though, and only missed one week when we had a pretty busy weekend.
Just a recap...I joined on 1/1/12 and here is what I have been up to on the scale.
1/1/12 - joined
1/8/12 - down 2.8
1/15/12 - stayed the same
1/22/12 - missed this week
1/28/12 - down 2.6 (and I have no switched to Saturday weigh ins)
2/4/12 - down .4
Total weight lose as of 2/4/12 5.8 pounds! Woohoo! Not too bad for 5 weeks in my opinion! Especially when I have found is super callenging to try to eat better and on more of a schedule with a little guy keeping me busy!
Some of my favorite WW related foods over the past week have been
Jolly Time Healthy Pop Kettle Korn popcorn. It's 3 points per bag and right now they have a promotion for submitting 3 UPCs and you get a free years subscription to Weight Watchers Magazine! This has been my snack for throughout the day or just at night while watching TV.
Another favorite is the Skinny Cow Fudge bars. They are 3 points each but don't have the diet chocolate taste, you know that taste I am talking about? Not a good taste at all, and these don't have that. Just a way to indulge without the guilt! If I havent had my popcorn at night I whip out one of these bars. 3 pts at the end of the day for a snack while watching TV is totally worth it to me, and the great way to end the day!
For me it's all about snacks and feeling like I am cheating! If I feel like I am depriving myself...well then I go buy a pound of chocolate and roll around it. Now that is not deprivation.
Now I do eat food besides snack! I have been making this particular soup weekly lately that has been filling, satisfying, and so easily made in the crock pot. I am going to make it this week so I will post pictures and the recipe for anyone interested!
I really am going to try my hardest to do these update posts on either Saturday or Sunday going forward, at least this week I am just 1 day off...is it still really only Monday!!??
