I am just full of pathetic apologetic posts aren't I? I am not sure why, but I just can't keep things going consistent on this blog lately! Life has just been crazy...like really crazy.
Just a quick update for anyone out there listening....I am starting to feel better, finally. Still not feeling like "me", definitely not looking like "me", but the sickness part of pregnancy has moved along. I now feel tired, drained, and larger than life! But that my friends I can deal with. I can be productive for 10 minutes, but then need to sit down for 10 minutes, its a cosntant cycle and discouraging to not be at my typical level or production, but hey, I am almost 8 months pregnant I am ok with that.
Speaking of 8 months...I mean WOW. Time has been FLYING by....but also it feels like I have been pregnancy for decades! It's one of those things where you almost get used to feeling pregnant, that you just start to think this is your new life and you will always feel this way. But in about 2 and a 1/2 months I won't feel like this anymore, and as hard as it is to believe it's an amazing thing to look forward to!
But besides being pregnant life has just been BUSY!
We are in construction mode at home. Trying to get all of our home updates done before our baby shower in a couple of weeks. The nursery is painted, and I will post pictures soon! And we have the furniture but still need to put it together. We are in the process of having new floors installed througout our living room/dining room/hallyway, and we got new living room furniture delivered a few weeks ago. The last piece is to finish the floors and paint the living area of our condo. Then we will be done. Here is a sneak peak of our new furniture.
The love seat (notice the carpet in this picture, and the flooring behind the love seat this is something we got rid of)
The couch (the wall behind that will be painted this week, and the pillows are usually much neater!)
But our dog has had no problem transitioning to the new furniture at all! He's a big fan of the love seat!
Our cat got a new fancy scratching post too...as an investment to save our furniture we had to go ahead and get him something nice and fancy and new too.
We spent weeks cleaning out the babies room to paint it, and now it is currently housing all of our living room/dining room furniture while those rooms are in renovation mode! We went with James River Grey by Benjamin Moore.
I also had to buy a new car, it is currently in transit from Texas! My lease was up on my current Honda CR-V so I went ahead and got a new 2011. I wanted to get into a 2012 since they are the new body styles and are super cute, but maybe in a few years. Timing-wise it wasn't going to work out for me. But I get to pick up this little red beauty sometime between the 16th and 20th when it arrives in Massachusetts!
For the most part that is it! Between house renovations, being busy at work, nursery planning life has been a tad bit hectic this summer! I am so excited it's fall though...love this season! The weather, the smells, the foliage, and the apple and pumpkin picking. Can not wait to start enjoying this beautiful season!
Now I am off to catch up on all YOUR blogs that I love and adore so much! I have missed the blogging world and even though I may not write and I am reading blogs and thinking about you guys often!!
