The Royal Wedding

Was AMAZING! Who watched it??!! I am sure so  many of us are blogging about it!

Let's talk dresses first. Kate Middleton is beautiful anyway, but these dresses she chose were just gorgeous! I loved her ceremony dress, it was classic, understated and elegant. Everything that Kate appears to stand for.

The veil was perfect, and the tiara from the queen was a great match with her whole look. The dress was Sara Burton for Alexander McQueen which is what it was speculated to be!

The ceremony was very nice too. I loved how formal and how royal it all was. The church was amazing-ly gorgeous, and everyone all dressed up with their hats was such a fun site to see!!

And the couple is an adorable couple in my opinion. I loved how they interacted in parts of the ceremony when they were smiling or chatting, it was very cute. They did seem a bit nervous, which is understandable since there were millions watching! But overall I think they handled it well and with absolute class. I heard that Prince William is very protective over Kate, and I think that showed.

As if it couldn't get better...they come out with her reception dress. Now when I thought her ceremony dress was perfection I had not seen the reception dress. But now seeing the reception dress I actually think I liked it more! I think each dress was appropriate for their uses, the ceremony dress was definitely the right dress for the formal morning. But this reception dress was such a great look on Kate. Again with the simple, understated elegance, the dress was just a Kate dress. She looked so much like herself in this dress!

If I were going to re-do my wedding, I would hunting down a replica of this fabulous dress!! And I am sure the world will be filled with many brides to be doing the same thing!!

I can't wait till more details and pictures get released from the wedding! I DVR-ed the whole thing yesterday morning and came home from work and watched it for hours. I was actually sick of hearing about the royal wedding last week, it was getting a tad bit excessive. But once I started to watch it, the hype was totally worth it. It was an amazing site to see and I am so glad I was able to see it.

Once I was done with the REAL royals I caught the William and Kate movie on Lifetime. I thought they did a pretty good job. I am not sure of the accuracy of the story it portrays, but it was entertaining and the acting was pretty good. I like who they had to play William and Kate, they resembled them in their own ways, and they were able to portray the characters very well.

Hope everyone had a great Royal Friday!!

Bachelor/Bachelorette Bling

Since I have been missing the bachelor lately I have been reading up on past bachelor/bachelorettes. I have to say, it is so sad when they don't work out! I know it's TV....and it "can't" be real, but I fall for it every single season and I hope and pray that they work it all out in real life.

Like these two for example....pull it together and work it out!! I keep hearing rumors that they broke up, then I read that Emily is moving to her own condo in Texas to be closer to Brad.

But in lieu of reading about all these lovely ladies and gents, I got to thinking about the amazing bling that goes along with these crazy relationships...

First up on the list of crazies...these two. And even though I wasn't a fan of either of them, I was still routing for them to work it out. Because, well, there is someone for everyone and I really thought these two were the PERFECT match for each other!

And the bling was kind of amazing....

Now these two really made me sad. I LOVE Jillian. Everything about her is just adorable. And Ed, I did love him while the show was airing. Even when he left and came back, still loved him! And they stuck it out for a little while, lived together and all. But in the end Jillian and Ed were not meant to be.

Her bling was one of my absolute favorites. It was just so different and not your typical engagement ring.

And now for one of the cutest couples in Bachelorette history....Ali and Roberto. They are one hot couple!! I loved them and they were definitely one of my favorites. These have to be some of the most genuine people that have made is through this whole process. They are not married yet, but it is expected that the wedding will occur before the end of the year, and I am routing for them!!

And of course, she had one of the most classy blings to flash around, and at this rate she might be able to keep it!

Also an oldie but a goodie. Trista and Ryan. Although their season is so long ago I barely remember it, I think they are adorable and I love that they are together with two little kids. Such a beautiful family and proof that this can work for the people that are compatible in the end and want to make it through.

And I can not find a picture of her ring anywhere...but here is the proposal!

Last but not least, is Emily and Brad. I like them together and I hope they can work it out.

Of course...the amazing ring that went along with this engagement. Let's hope she gets to keep it!

As for some off camera love going on in the Bachelor/Bachelorette clan! Deanna Pappas who was one of my favorites got engaged to Stephan Stagliano who was the twin of Michael on Jillian's season (are you followin me?). I think they are adorable together! And Holly (from a season I can't remember) is engaged to the twin brother who was on the show. Kind of strange, but it sounds like its working out for them!

Then if these two gorgeous people could get engaged too...all would be well in the world!

That's it for my Bachelorette/Bachelor chat!!

Hope everyone is having a great Thursday!

Rio: Movie Review

I saw it...and I loved it! I am a complete sucker for all cartoon-y movies. I love Disney, Pixar, all of them. The movie was cute and funny and definitely entertaining for the hour and half it was on!

It's about a bird (obviously) who is very rare and the last male of his kind. His owner is persuaded to go back to Rio where he is from to breed with the last female of his kind to try to prevent them from  becoming extinct. From there on Blu the bird encounters quite the adventures in Rio! The movie makes you laugh and even makes your cry! (crazy how these animated movie can do that!) Anyway, you walk out the theater wanting a little Blu bird of your own.

If you have kids, bring them. If you don't just go anyway and enjoy some lighthearted movie fun, that's what I did. It is absolutely worth it!!

Product Review: Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo

How many of us do not want to wash their hair every single day, or just wake up late and don't have the time to do it! I know I have this problem often. I don't like to wash my hair everyday because it gets so soft and I can't do anything with it, but at the same time it doesn't always behave the way I want it to when it's not freshly washed.

I found this really cheap, really great solution. Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo. It works great, and smells pretty decent too! When I want to smooth out my hair and pull it back on a day I didn't wash it, this stuff works wonders!

Anyone like Dry Shampoo or try another brand? I bought the Bed Head version from Amazon a while back and there was literally two uses in the can, it was awful! And it was like $20. This stuff I use a couple of times a week and I still have plenty left.

You can find Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo at Walgreens (or any local drug store) for $4.49!

Pretty Little Liars

Besides American Idol, and Dancing with the Stars, and Vampire Diaries there has just been nothing on TV. I need the Bachelor/Bachelorette to come back on, and I need Pretty Little Liars back! The good news is that they both will be back soon! It looks like the Bachelorette with Ashley from last season will be starting Monday May 23rd. While I didn't love on the last season, I did think she would make a good bachelorette. So like always I will be addicted!

Pretty Little Liars will be coming back with a new season on June 14th! As much as this is a complete teenie-bopper show I love it and am totally addicted! Check out their new promo pictures...they girls are pretty gorgeous!

If you want the details on these pic and all the info on what they are wearing you must check out the fabulous Possessionista. She has ALL info you would ever need to the best dressed celebs so check her out!!

Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to my lovely readers!!!

What did everyone do to celebrate their Easter?? Me and the hubby went for brunch with my mother and grandmother, and then went to my mother-in-laws for dessert afterwards. It was a beautiful day, low-key and chill, just how I like to spend the holidays. As much as I love to see all my family and friends on holidays, I appreciate the quieter holidays even more because those are always spent with some of my most favorite people!

The weather here in Boston was amazing today too, which was so nice for a change! It ended up being in the 70's which was just nice enough to break out some spring clothes!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!!!

Audrina on Vh1

Is anyone watching this? I didn't even realize it had started already so I threw it on my DVR list of caught the opening episode this morning. I have to say...I think I will continue watching! Not that I loved the show, by any means. Or that it is even all that good. But because I did like Audrina on The Hills, and I easily get hooked on these celeb "reality" shows.

This show seems to be kind of all about her and her family. Which is all good, but her Mom seems a tad bit on the crazy side. I hate to say mean things about people on here...but that is one woman I could not deal with! She will add entertainment to this show, but at the expense of being completely annoying.

But like I said, I like Audrina, and I like to watch the typical Hollywood stuff these celebs do so I will be watching! And can we talk about her hair? He hair is looking beyond fabulous in this show so far. I think she looks great!

So will anyone else be getting sucked in to yet another one of these shows??

And, HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Closets

Do you ever see an amazing closet and just fall in love? I have a walk in closet..and it's a decent size...but it's just cramed with stuff and not "pretty" on the inside. But some people out there have amazing closet space with an amazing decor too!

I love to drool over people amazing closets...especially celebs. I came across this article for Khloe Kardashian's closet the other day....and the shoes are just amazing! The shoes are the goods in my opinion, and this is a wall of Louboutins!

I love the Kardashians anyway, their shows are entertaining. Khloe is probably my favorite. She seems the most real out of the 3 girls. But I am a sucker for anything Kardashain, and we can add Khloe's wall of shoes to that list!

Switching it Up

I am itching to do some home updates lately. I love changing up the decor in my house, and right now I am trying to decide what I really like to make some changes!

Target is always my go-to place for home items. The selection is great, and the prices are fantastic. Also the Christmas Tree Shop is a good place to check out, might have to go there later this week when I am near one again.

I am kind of in love with some of these items...

Both of these chairs...I think I love the whiter based on better...but they are both perfect!

Curtains are simple, but can transform a whole room. I love the tops of these!

I buy way too many throw pillows. But there are too many cute ones! This being one that I might have to have!

I love this little herb pot set. Great color green and would be super cute on my porch this summer!

This rug for the front door - great color scheme

And I am really look for something like this to use as end tables in the living room. I currently have these little rinky-dink bookshelves that I hate. Time to upgrade them!

My husband and I have been talking about getting a new living room set too. I have the worlds most destrcutive cat who has pretty much torn the current living room set to shreds. We are trying to figure out how to make him stop scratching so that we can move on with our lives. And if we can we plan on buying this.

My other task I need to get on is getting updated pictures printed. I have so many new pictures of the hubby and I from our wedding, or honeymoon and I have not a single one of them framed and out in our house. Instead I  have pictures that are 3 years old hanging up on my wall! I need to get on that.

And we plan on having the place painted in the coming months too. It's a really really light beige right now, but we wanted something a little darker and more pigmented. We are thinking Bleeker Beige by Benjamin Moore

It's a running list but it's our current task! I will keep you all posted on how this little transformation goes!
